Surf Curse | PhilaMOCA

This teenage two-piece started in Reno some ten years ago. A decade and nearly 10 million monthly listeners later, they added an extra stop on their stadium-filling tour with Greta Van Fleet to play PhilaMOCA. It’s a 200-cap spot that even normal people like me have played. cool.

Eagles NFC Championship | Center City Celebration

A classic street-style interview video that puts Philly’s culture on full display. Despite losing the Super Bowl, it’s always nice to reflect on the time when the city was not only united, but drunk and hopeful.

Sweet Pill | The Church

Good, good fun at The Church. The Philly-based five-piece that’s been making waves around the country returns home to wish a happy-happy birthday to their debut album, Where the Heart Is.

Chicken Man | Video Interview

Alexander Tominsky has become one of Philly’s most paraded heroes. He’s not a pro athlete or a rapper, but a man who ate 40 rotisserie chickens in 40 days. We chat about chicken, god, and masochism at the place the 40th chicken was consumed.

Greg Freeman | Bonk’s Bar

Vermont soloist whomst I like very much. this guy’s going to make it big so get your listening in now so you can be annoying about it later. Oh, and its in 6k- wooooo that’s a lot of pixels.

Algernon Cadwallader | Johnny Brenda’s

The capstone show to Algernon Cadwallader’s 10-year reunion tour. Joined by friends and family Algernon put their gauntlet around the U.S. to bed in the city that got them their start.

Snowing | DIY Superbowl Ukie Club

Full set coverage of one of the most beloved emo band’s to come from Philadelphia’s basements. Electric as ever, this Snowing Reunion set is one not soon to be forgotten by emo fans.

Fib | Ukie Club

Weird and very good. Fib is an awesome band and an awesome live band. Go listen to their stuff, they are one of the good ones in Philly right now.

Boyscott | The Mansion

Catchy, surfy band that seemed way too big for the confines of a basement. Nonetheless, Boyscott and audience made it work for a great show at a venue very near and dear to my heart.

Oolong | DIY Superbowl Ukie Club

As one of 5th Wave Emo’s rising stars there was no better band to warm up a crowd for Snowing. These guys really know how to play their instruments. Riffs out the wazoo.

Hotline TNT | Ukie Club

This band doesn’t know how to stop touring but shoegaze listeners don’t seem to be complaining. Created and led by Will Anderson (who is a nice guy and has a cool mag called A’ssn Update) they are loud and entertaining.

TAGABOW | Philamoca

Live performance of “eightball” by the Philly Shoegaze quartet They Are Gutting a Body of Water. Hosted by 4333 Collective and THE MACHINE at Philamoca.

Do You Have a Minute? | Ukie Club

After seeing the first episode I asked creator Josh let me help him bring his show to the next level. I’m not sure I did that but it was a good time. Great show, great bands, and they were all good company.

Toner | Ukie Club

Founder of The Smoking Room Samuelito Cruz’s project. A punk lo-fi rock project hailing from Oakland, California on tour with Hotline TNT.

4333 Mini Montage | Ukie Club

Knifeplay, Toner, TAGABOW, and Hotline TNT all in the same show. Rockin’. Here’s a small montage recapping the night

GEL | Original 13

Live from the pit of Original 13 Ciderworks. I was having fun but was scared. If my camera breaks I am going with it so please watch this video with the weight of my endured risk on your shoulders.

Dead Love Triangle | Earth Day Fest

Temple’s favorite three-piece (now four piece I joined) playing at The Machine’s Earth Day Fest on Cecil. Hopefully see ya there next year?

Harm Assist | Sonic

Not at the Denny’s but still pretty good. I was really sick but the performance lifted my spirits. Also USPS has such cool unis.

Grouvier Street | debut show

The night Temple rowhome, Grouvier St, began its tenure as a house venue. Filmed it on a VHS camera which is a pain in the ass.
